Benjamin McPherson is an American filmmaker, screenwriter, and artist.

Born in April of 1976, Ben began his career as a fine artist in New Mexico, where he showed his paintings in prestigious galleries in Santa Fe and Scottsdale AZ. His work is featured in museum collections throughout the world and has been highlighted in Southwest Art Magazine and the American Art Collector. McPherson's artwork and creative processes have attracted national attention. In 2007, McPherson was featured in God's Close-Up, the third episode of the Showtime television series, This American Life. The segment was also nominated for three television Emmy awards. In 2011, he created a non-scripted television series for National Geographic and went on to build television for various networks while honing his craft as a filmmaker. Ben's first short films garnered numerous awards in some of the most prestigious festivals throughout the country.

In 2013, McPherson co-created and directed the live stage production Man in the Moon - The opening show of which was sold out to a crowd of over 20,000. 

He has worked tirelessly to transition his career from painting to a full-time focus on film-making. After hearing a particular story about a Chaldean Priest, Abuna Douglas Bazi, Ben decided to commit all of his efforts to telling the stories of the persecuted minorities in the Middle East.
